Hey guys, Have just purchased a ba mk2 xr6t so thought I'd join up here. I'm pretty much completely new to the scene, but have learnt a lot from browsing the forums here so far. I bought a little over a month ago, has 65k kms on the clock, and is pretty much stock 4 sp auto. Only mods is a growler CAI Found that after giving it some gas, I'd be taking off and occasionally the gears wouldn't catch, the revs would go real high, then eventually it would catch and it seemed ok. Till the other day the same thing happened but this time it wouldn't fall into gear, so now just waiting to see what the result is, thinking I'm probably gonna need a new transmission. The gearbox oil had leaked out all over the road, and was still coming out as I was getting towed, got it sitting in the garage waiting for a mate to come jack it up and take a proper look. Wondering if anyone has had anything similar happen, and if I have to replace/ upgrade the trans what I should look at doing? Any help would be appreciated, as I said I'm pretty green here. thanks
