Hi all. Not sure if this topic has already been covered elsewhere. I am looking at converting our FG XR6 Turbo 2010 to run on the new LP Gas liquid injection and am wondering if others have had experience with this technology. Our previous Ford used the older vapour sequential injection which worked very well for us both in performance and economy but this time around we wish to get the most up to date system available providing that it is both proven and reliable. Has other members done this conversion to their turbo vehicles and what is your experience. Is this technology proven and reliable? (Our local LPG conversion centre has not switched to this system though they have undergone the training. They are not yet convinced of its reliability.) I have heard of initial problems with the pump inside the gas tank which was said to be unsound and costly to replace but has this issue been rectified? Can you recommend any workshops that do this conversion including any that have converted an XR6 Turbo? Are there any issues with insurance companies because of the performance increase? This vehicle is used primarily as our everyday family car and we are attracted to the cost savings of using LP gas. (If it is cheap to run then we will drive it more.) I am interested to hear your comments. Thanks Sixpack
