One of the brake hoses on my fg has been damaged and finding it hard to find a replacement . No where sells new here have to get from aus. Anyway heaps of ba and bf wrecks around was curious if the hose would link up properly to my fg brakes ? , it's rear drives side at the back

That's absolutely correct bud. Was more trying to see if anyone knew if abs could cause it to try lock up mid skid ? That's what it sounded like anyway so ended up stopping.

That's what I did mate just stopped when it sounded like it was binding up , only a special accasion thing was pretty cool blue smoke tires haha , 😄 , was just unsure if the abs could cause it to break up mid skid seen I was on the spot , blown a abs fuze under pedal on my na couple years ago easy fix and definitely well aware of the issues that can occur with sending it

Likely bro it's all sweet now was more curious if it can effect my skid atall like can it make my breaks bite Hard by themselves or anything

Will abs mess with burnouts atall ? Was in third gear doing a stand still today doing a gender reveal and sounded Like back breaks were trying to lock up or something was a romper skid abs light came on is off again now and all is well , just real curios noise to me sounded like the breaks trying to lock onto the rotors , , still pulls hard no issues atll after the burnout was just a bit confused at the noise .

It could well be the battery can't leave the radio on for 5 min without it not starting I'll start there first replace that then see where I'm at , I'd say tune should be fine as it's only not Long started to happen but will look into it as well , I'll try the fule thing as well , the fule pump and filter are 15,000km old , it's been the wettest year on record for nz so indeed could be that also , will have to check every thing you've suggested thanks for the help

Sure is has been tuned for 10 months now no issues since we sorted out the boost spike 9 months ago . It's on 98 only from mobile the gull 98 in my town has super bad rep

Last 2 months noticed it's taking longer and longer to start up from cold start if I pump some gass it speeds it up a bit. , once warmed up say when I shoot into a shop and come out turn it over it starts up no issues atall , just curious should I be worried ? Isn't terrible just some times takes maybe 5 odd secconds .

Solid bro will definitely look into it , cheers. First time it's ever ever missed a gear like that didn't even make a noise anywhere at the front , clunked In the ass end and 1st was gone , , littarly 5 secconds later when I shifted to seccond then back to first back into full boost was fine ,

Removed cradle few months ago and did all the bushings with nolothane ones. Really need to open it up and see what the issue is because it's only ever so often , the other day it went clunk and said no traction and there was no first gear went to seccond then back down to first and it was there fine again loving life was super curious . , clunks square in the middle of diff when I'm aggressive on the gear changes . And often her thuds when I'm turning right from the back left I think it was , only was thinking truetrack so I can give it sh*t and not feel like ima blow the diff 🤣 , I do heaps and heaps of pulls ,

What would these changes include ? Tried to look up on YouTube and had a look trough here but couldn't find much possibly I wasn't being specific enough

Does the diff gear ratio matter to much? What would you suggest? Given the current power , cheers for the help

My diff has started to make funky noises some times not often but know it's signs of something back there failing . Wanted to replace it and was curious what'd be best option for being smooth but also can put down good power and do a good burn out when I feel like it *twice a year maybe* , was looking at truetrack gear set but no idea on what one to get . 320rkw abouts . Cheers 2009 fg turbo .

I'm in New Zealand and was curious If anyone knew where I could get a transmission reconditioned for more power here ? Next year want to possibly chase 500rkw and don't think the stock fg turbo transmission will handle it so would like to look into getting a built one or something. Cheers .

Thanks bud aprecated , will go into ford on Tuesday and see if they can reprogram the new cluster think best I can do in my town is fiar view motors mainly a Ford shop , and been struggling to find a good circuit board diagram for the fg cluster should be easy to diagnose and replace if I had the diagram.

So all has been well since getting the car finally running right ... been a few days parked up in the drive way went to take it out for a weekend boost. And noticed my indicator left side was on when I turned key to acc or turned it over , it won't turn off ... all the indicator lights are working fine it just won't turn of . Now the fg doesn't have a flasher relay it's a built in thing to the speedo cluster , correct if I'm wrong there . But is this a simple fix ? I tried a new cluster of a g6e turbo and solved the issue indicators working fine as they should but it's immobilized .. so swaped back to My Orinial one . But what I'm more or less asking is how do I fix the issue ? New cluster how do I program? Or anyone in nz I can speak too about fixing the broken cluster ? Asked around and they have no idea...

$30,000 yard ordiment , looking for advice on where I could potentially look. not a flux compositor , I'm 24 worked my ass of for this and feeling bretty sad about it , ripping the complete piss is pretty ugly , cheers for the help.

Didn't really find a solution 😅 ended in not knowing what to do still haha got the best tuner around this area by far , had people tell me stay way clare of the other ones as they had nothing but issues till they went where I am now , this is coming from a good number of people and reviews , is there any sensors or electrical connections I can check that'd cause this ? Map sensor maybe ?

What do you mean by that 😮 Has bigger rare housing flapper and port , injectors , 4 inch dump and cat from xforce and 2.5 cat back , 🥲
