  2. It's probably a Ford dedicated one though. These dayco ones are rubbish
  3. Changed thermostat already mate, I've been told the aftermarket coolant dayco tank caps are rubbish and cause all sorts or problems does anyone know about this issue? Apparently it's doesn't do the same.job as a factory ford cap.

Hey guys Friend of mine just brought a fg xr6 turbo, intake exhaust, stock engine battery relocation kit, exhaust 288rwkw 16psi had a few issues with the coolant pressurising in the system new water pump, hoses,radiator and dayco overflow tried to bleed any air out over half an hour, drove around after topped up then done it again.. I've had it with this car we are now pricing a rebuild thinking lifted the head any final thoughts what it could be? Thanks in advance.
  5. Turbo died. Fuel pump won't run any more then 260 kw I don't think. I will be building the motor for more power later. 400kw one day

  7. mate of mine offered to pull my engine hes a mechanic for $500 250 in 250 out. then do gears springs ect its all hear ready to go now
  8. yeah stuff it im just guna put it all back together anyway the way I look at itif I push anything to hard it will break its a ba motor so its either oil pump falure or rods lol
  9. the car will see a conservative tune, to keep rods happy...do you think the car will be find? keith said the limiter is hard to avoid hitting, is it hard to avoid if torque downlow is removed?

Hey all so ive got a 2004 manual BA falcon obviously got a few ks on on 240 to be exact - ive owned the car for 4 year now, I have never had any major issues with the engine its always been strong ive recently purchase, plasmaman intercooler kit, 1000cc injectors, fx-s fuel reg, gtx3584rs turbo, external gate. 460 pump ect chasing a fun street car 310-330rkwk will be with a conservative tune with no crazy torque mid rang it will make power up top to save rods! I do abit of spirited driving nothing even close to bashing limiter or anything like that, If im giving it some juice its from around 2,500 - 5,500rpm at max (ps where is the limiter on these things) I just love the sound and boost feeling ha! now if it was an RB I would even be questioning this lol id be on its limiter all day Ive been told by shops that its imperitive I do oil pump gears - plasmaman say I should do it now, intune motorsports said keep the car off the limiter and ill be fine, then atomic is saying do it at that power level...hangon doesnt it depend on the revs not the power. intune claim 600 rwkw on stock pump gears. so im condused at this point, I did read another post on this but didnt answer my next question? can I access the oil pump in a ba by only removing engine or just removing radiator, valve cover ect. thanks in advanced,
