  1. Thanks for letting me pick your brains mate, I will let you know how it all goes.
  2. That makes sense, what would be an ideal replacement pulley? I have heard billet lasts longer than the plastic ones
  3. So what turns the shaft if the bearings in the pully?
  4. I was thinking this also earlier but is there a bearing In the Lilly itself or in the ps pump housing ?
  5. Need help diagnosing a bad ticking noise from the ps pump area. It almost sounds like valves ticking it is a repetitive metallic sound . I am sure that it’s coming from the ps pump. That’s what I’m hoping, if not if it is there is something seriously wrong with the motor. That asside, This noise is some times not noticeable on start up when cold though once warm it starts. The noise will disappear or at least quieten down while the steering is being turned depending on the force applied to the wheel. Everything works perfectly fine, power steering fluid is full and no excessive noise from engine when driving. Has anyone else had this issue.?
  6. Thanks got it sorted, there is a smaller bung up near the mechatronic sleeve input that I thoughts was a filler
  7. Actually just read through it, appears that I thought the drain bung is the filler but this makes no sense as that’s the whole all the oil drained from unless this is a different model transmition 🙃
  8. Thank you so much mate your a life saver. That link is a well done post to 👍
  9. Can’t find the details in the book any were on the box I could take a photo of to clarify. It’s a 6 speed auto and both drain and filler are located on the side of the gear box on the drivers side. The “filler hole” would be no larger than 13mm
  10. So I checked the location of filler bung before I dropped the oil just to be sure I was able to top it up that afternoon with no hitches. Then I drop the autos sump plug. now when I went to fill it up through the hole I assumed was the filler nothing will go into the gear box. It just runs back out of this so callled filler hole
