Thanks. It does sound like it's coming from the rear. Are you experienced in replacing this part? I've read that it's a expensive job on the fg xr6s. I'm not wearing any diff related issues.

It happened in first gear at a very low speed. First the revs dropped down too 400, 200 then died. Its happened twice know. It restarted immediately. Would this show up on a fault read?I also have some clunking which was quiet noticeable just before the revs dropped and it died. It's been suggested the clunking could be the centre tail shaft bearing. Il get a meter on the battery asap. Cheers all.

Hi. My xr6 stalled at very low speed. An restarted fine. I recently replaced the belt. The tensioner seems ok. Any advice is welcome.

Clunking related to gear changes and power. 170k. Very tidy genral condition. Any suggestions on the possible suspect would be appreciated. From what I've read it's the diff? Thanks Stu
