Aint the rods the same after may 2006? Also I can get the NA for basically $900 wereas the 245t that came in the terry is round about $3500 and that's if I can find one, and that one isnt blown up... so for the $2600 I save I can do a few things... wouldve changed turbo,mani,and valvesprings anyway... im doing the conversion(or want to) in a e46 bmw

Hi there, im new here so sorry if this has been discussed before ... But can it be done? No im not buying a already turbo'ed barra coz I cant find one in RSA ... im left with only option and that's to do the 190 wich is essentially the same engine as the barra 245T except for pistons etc. Has someone done this before end what power figures did they achieve? Planning an e46 swap
