But can it be done?No im not buying a already turbo'ed barra coz I cant find one in RSA ... im left with only option and that's to do the 190 wich is essentially the same engine as the barra 245T except for pistons etc. Has someone done this before end what power figures did they achieve? Stalk this guy => @NA_TURBO Not that I've tried, but you probably wouldn't want to make more than 300rwkw on a na petrol motor.

Pistons and rods won't hold much power. You'll need oil lines plus fittings for the oil pressure sensor, water lines for the turbo, manifold, injectors, fuel pressure regulator, oil drain needs to be drilled and tapped into sump, one way valve for the pcv system, butterflies removed from intake manifold, new fuel pump, 2 bar map sensor needs to be fitted and wiring modified to suit. Valve springs need to be done too as they don't like boost, exhaust valves are different material too, ecu needs to be retuned and mapped to suit.Power steering cooler is in the way of the intercooler when you go to fit it. Also I can get the NA for basically $900 wereas the 245t that came in the terry is round about $3500 and that's if I can find one, and that one isnt blown up... so for the $2600 I save I can do a few things... wouldve changed turbo, mani, and valvesprings anyway... im doing the conversion(or want to) in a e46 bmw
