  1. Thanks guys , I went to Spillers and they sorted me out with a BSP plug which fitted perfect
  2. Thanks gents , I went to Spiller industrial supplies and got a bsp plug , fits perfect , I just couldn’t fit the f6 intercooler in my Bf with the boost sensor still on the cooler , thanks for everyone’s help
  3. Sorry mate , I’m not sure what your meaning , they talk about 8,10 and 12 but I don’t see any confirmation of the size bolt or thread
  4. Same here , anyone work this out and know the answer , I’m taking my sensor to bunning and gonna by a few different threads bolts so I can block the boost sensor hole up, I’ll post any helpful info upon my return
  5. So I think the problem is the sensor, I have taken it off and now I can fit the cooler in place , is that what you guys did , I was just going to get a bolt to put it back in the hole to block it up ? thanks for your help team
  6. Thanks very much mate for your advice and link with pics , hopefully I can go at it fresh tonight or tomorrow night and get it in ??

  8. Thanks heaps Arronm , yes everything off the car so it’s exposed as much as possible , do I attach brackets to car then try install the cooler , or attach brackets to the cooler first ? also , do you know what side I should expect to have to drill a hole ? thanks heaps for getting back to me , at least now I can push forward with the typhoon brackets ??
  9. Anybody out there ? I’m trying to do this today on my 2007 mk II xr6t and am stuck big time , I can’t get the f6 intercooler into place with either standard brackets or the typhoon brackets that came with the cooler , seems the f6 cooler is roughly 1 inch wider and has the scensor thing for the gauge , any suggestions as to what order I should be doing the cooler and brackets as I’m buggered , been trying for 2 hours since removing old cooler and nowhere near success yet , please help ??
  10. You are the man Spin , awesome instructions , filler nut was a 30 for me , thanks man ??
