Recomendations For The Fuel System
So who sells Walbro fuel pumps? Any idea on which one to get or do they only do one? Or do they do a particular one for the XR6T application? Cheers for the replies. I've started another thread with some questions on the gearbox if you guys can possiably enlighten me there! XR6T8_U, I'll see what pric the 968's are too me for work, and then based on the prices I guess we can make a better decision. So the fuel pressure regulator doesn't need to be touched? Just higher volume fuel pump and injectors?

Blaunkput Icc Adapter
So how does that connect to the ICC? I thought it had to be some specific made item? That's just got sandard AV and RGB input and outputs on it...

Recomendations For The Fuel System
Brothers got a BA XR6Turbo (2003 with a T5), fitted already with K&N air filter and SS Induction, soon to get the 2nd CAI under the headlight. We just picked up some of that fancy (and bloody expensive) Redline oil for the T5 too. Next up looking at the Hybrid Intercooler kit, Nizpro valve springs, exhaust (havn't decided what yet, prollyjust get a decent shop to make one up), and a new plenum chamber (waiting to hear back from Nizpro and Capa on the prices of theres out of the kits, otherwise weve found a bloke that makes a lot of them for Jap turbos and will talk to him about one). As you can probably gather were not interested in just getting a kit from one company, were wanting to do it our way, weather this'll be better or not well have to wait and see. Anyways, obviously once the rest of this gear is installed it's going to need a flash tune, and the petrol system will probably be straining. Now were willing to admit we don't know much about the fuel system. Told well need a rising rate fuel pressure regulator and better flowing pump, so I'm looking for recomendations for them (be great if can get one from either Bosch or Rocket Industries as we can get there gear for discount price). Also probably need higher flowing injectors, and weve been recomended to go with Bosch 440cc 968 units. Just hoping that anyone who has some idea and/or experience with this stuff can hopefully give us a hand with some advice and recomendations.

Blaunkput Icc Adapter
I'm sure this has been covered before, but maybe someone can point me in the right direction. Trying to source the part number or proper name of the ICC adapter that I've been told Blaunkput make. Basically, we have a normal indash DVD player here and an Xbox, and want to fit one of the other into brothers XR6Turbo which has the factory premium sound system... I've just read Alpine are also releasing a set up, but I can get Blaunkput items for very good price...

New Falcon Orion Platform 2008
Wouldn't reducing the size of the turbo increase low down torque but probably reduce peak power?

So What Voids The Warranty?
the dealer said he can do the exhaust cat back and that's fine. or fit a full herods without voiding the warrenty.

So What Voids The Warranty?
Fair enough cheers for the replies guys. I'll let you know what the dealer says when he goes and chats to them - as I said earlier though he bought the car from the dealer with the CAI and filter already fitted and the guy said it still had warrenty!

So What Voids The Warranty?
Yeah but only if they know. I mean if you upgrade the valve springs unless the engine or head goes they're not going to find out. I'm wondering would they find out about the flash tuner, I.e. when the car goes in to them to be serviced or what ever, do they plug there computer in and check the ECU or anything? As I said he got this one from a dealer and it already has turbo timer, SS Induction and high flow filter fitted and there happy with that. he said he'll go back there monday and have a chat to the bloke and see what he says too...

So What Voids The Warranty?
I just joined this site on behalf of my brother (personally I'm doing up an EF wagon currently EL XR replica and a 265 Hemi powered VJ Valiant - sorry but she still keeps up with a stocko XR6T and it's 30 years older - sorry can't resist having a dig, now back to topic...), anyways he sold me the Valiant and has now purchased an XR6T - it's a 2004 BA Mark 1 with 5 speed manual, and lots of option boxs ticked (leather, wheels, sunroof, premium sound, brake upgrade, alarm, etc.). Now he's been ringing me (as he's in the Air Force in Queensland and doesn't have full time net access) asking me about mods and to find out. He actually bought the car from a dealer (previous owner traded it in for an FPV - lucky *beep*). And it already has a turbo timer, SS induction and we think, he's yet to be bothered checking, a high flow filter (K&N or what ever brand). Now he's looking at what mods he can do such as those already done, without effecting his warrenty, currently were thinking fiberglass XR8/GT bonnet, Cappa Flash Tune, upgraded valve springs (as we hear these are often the weakest part of the donk). Now just wondering what else can be done without loosing the warrenty, obviously the valve springs there unlikely to notice so might be alright, the bonnet shouldn't be an issue either, and we figer the exhaust is a definate no no so that will have to wait, but what about the flash tunes? Surely Ford wouldn't notice this had been done unless the ECU was plugged into there computer and read or something? Is that likely to happen?

Not All Oil Filters Are Equal?
I work casual at Repco while bludging my way through uni (commerce and law degree) and this is something I looked into in one of my bored moments - out of the three brands we sell - Repco, Silverline and Ryco, the Rycos are the only ones that state they have an anti-drain valve. As for the rest there's nothing to say if they do or don't.
