Some wonderful and charming road user hit my car in a supermarket yesterday and drove off......... The damage is on the bumper (dint and scrapes), tail light smashed and spoiler leg snapped...... It will be off to the panel beaters for the dint, the taillight already done but the spoiler is another problem.... Sooooo looking for someone selling a Velocity color rear spoiler or suggestions.........

Thanks for the posts guys Overboost was a problem as the boost solenoid was stuck shut, and Benji_vs is closest to the pin :pulease:, it does have a faulty coilpack and that's what's causing the vibration, its breaking down under acceleration load when the Turbo comes in. Car is going in for a service next week cause its close to its 85K service. Getting plugs and coilpacks done at same time. On another subject..... exhaust..... what's good, I want a good sound as well as performance and just hankin for neat twin pipes to replace the oval tip there now.... ideas guys & where?

I have read a few posts on Turbo problems and damaged Turbos and am not sure about mine? I had my battery replaced last Tuesday and the auto-elec noticed that my coldair intake pipe below the battery was off. He put in back on and secured the clamp. I was amazed how much more boost I gained, I bought my BA MkII XR6T 6SPD Man as an ex factory executive car and would guess that pipe has been off or loose since I got it. Its now done 80,000KMS Yesterday a bad vibration started when the turbo kicks in, it has since got less and less but is still there under acceleration, I have also lost that boost I had gained and more. I had a good look under the bonnet and cant see any pipes loose, the turbo sounds fine and there is no knocking sound? I am wondering if this extra boost has fried something or a blocked injector, faulty plug under load? I always use VPower from the same servo and have filled the tank today. I will be calling my mechanic tomorrow but I though I would ask for ideas? After reading posts, if the worst has happened then where can I get my Turbo fixed or replace in the Rowville area by someone that will do a good job at a fair price? Thoughts please?
