Sercurity code error and how do I fix that? Does it stay on there does it? Or is there a way to get it off? And what the BEM?

I wanted to change my icc unit over from the stock standard ba unit to the one that has the colour screen but not climate control ones just the one with the colour screen but the heat an aircon are stil knobs to turn How much is envolved and what rxtra fo I need or is it a straigh swap over?

Im taking this thiing back to the dealer I want to be loaded up With things to Say to looms at and fix, what can cause fuel or Exhaust fumes through out the car? Tht a cat problem? Thanks For any Help

The auto elec told me it was an oxy sensor but its still doin so that auto elec is just a f*ckwit also getting this heavy exhaust fumes in the car that be the same Problem?

Its all stock as a rock so standard boost no mods done at all, how much is a new set of coils? Its driving me Insane should I take it to ford? I cant do this my self when can I buy coil packs from? Thanks everyone for your input

Did we get to the bottom of this I think mine could be a possible fuel pump issue or cat issue, im gonna take mine to ford if no good im going to sell it, literally got beaten by a f*ckin toyota sportivo tonight becuase my car wont let me rev it past 3500/4500rpm

Cut out at 3500 - 4500rpm in gear 3rd and 4th gear I dont understand I try drag ss's and I rev out each gears 1st and 2nd is fine but 3rd an fourth bogs out and kicks back like it hits a rev limiter, then the engine light comes on and it idles like sh*t, why?? Does anyone else get this? Ive had auto elecs say its an oxy sensor why the engine light comes on they rckon they fixed it but bang its come back on again just tonight literally after I boot it in 3rd and fourth at high revs Please help!

Yeah id probably avoid draggin or skids in a manual I broke my clutch doin that and had problems with the gear box ever since! (dot own car anymore) Autos are way tougher for racing, or skids I reckon

My god my f*ckin sh*tty bf does the same thing!! Been trying to get to the bottom of it I originaly thought it was the fuel im running, not the case now I was told could be a blockage in the induction still not the case! Mine idles like sh*t then all of a sudden kicks back into normal its aost like its gasping for fuel or something? Does your engine light come on too after floggin it abit? Then dissapier after a couple days ?

Oh okay I am now running vpower in it and it is running heaps better and I can pn just hear that ratteling noise it sounds like its going or dissapearing, but one thing is still happening After I accelerate and grt up into the 4000rpms and 5 its kicks back like im hitting the limiter but its obvously no where near it and after accerating its idles really heavy and sounds like its choking and runs rough then I accelerate and it kicks back into normal wtf would that be? Im in victoria aswell but they reckon a ute is a commmercial vehicle and they dont have to give a stat warrent absalout dogs made me sign a waver aswell hate dealerships and anything to Do with buying selling cars just no Good trusty people In it

I have just bought my xr6turbo ute manual 2007 93000kms, Its seem to had a few problems so far my main concern now is this noise coming from either the engine or turbo its like a ratteling noise I here when it builds boost to about 3500rpm and it gets louder and louder untill it cuts me off at usually 5000rpm like im hitting the limiter its like the engine diagnoses itself and cuts of the supply to the engine and kicks back like its hitting the rev limiter but 5000rpm is surely to low for that to be the limiter, then idles like its starving of fuel, or oil until I accelerate it it fixes itself usually after this happens the orange engine light comes on? Ive had a mate look at it whos not a licenced mechanic but know abit he reckons its "pinging" or "detonating" im not sure but he said it could be due to running unleaded 91 What do you guys think? Im honestly boarderline giving it back I did get 1 year warranty but no 3 month stat so anything the warrenty doesnt cover im out of pocket! Please help!
