thanks for the reply aiboart, I realize I didn't describe very clearly. you are right the rotor disc is shiny. It is the hub I am looking at. these rusty hubs look like they're 20 years old not 2. It hasn't got a towbar so it hasn't sat in the drink.

2011 fg xr6 non turbo.. behind the rear wheel when removed is a thin plate which had ugly rust on it, so I thought whip that off for an inspection well the rotor, bearing nut, shaft is covered in rust. both sides? Is this normal? if I need to show a pic then I guess it isn't

topic pretty much says it all, had this 2011 fg non turbo for 3 months, it has always had a plastic thud sound(not metal) from the front as soon as I hit 15km/h, first run from cold start. sounds Like some plastic vent or something opens up. any ideas? cheers

Hi guys I've just bought a spare falcon flip key off ebay with 3 button remote (not programmed yet). The chip is inside the remote part right? if I seperate remote from both keys (main and spare) the car should not start right? Well that's what I keep hearing and mine starts fine with no remote, chips. I havn't driven down the road yet to see if it shuts down after a while. Inferier chip maybe lol Price for whole key $57nzd getting key cut $35nzd If I went through ford dealler $460nzd yeah right so back to the question should the car 2011xr6 fg start without the chip? cheers

hi everyone just noticed on my second day of owning 2011 xr6 my seal inside cab when you open door was worn/ripped/broken off about half way ill take a photo soon (still dark out). I thought what the f**k I'm sure that wasn't there, mind you I wasnt looking for broken door seals on 2 year old car. . Then as the next time I slid into the car my arse scrapped that seal right where it was broken. My solution is if you are a big guy tighten your butt before you get in ya fg.??? Enter arse first. Anyone else have this problem or do ya all have little butts? cheers
