  1. Yeah, our class rules limit us to a 3.5L. We fully expect 1600+hp, with hopes of 1800+hp. We will be taking the block to the max. JZ
  2. Just to give the XR6 community an update. We were accepted to race in Nopi. Our engine program is in full swing now. The goal is 1800+ hp with the XR6 engine. We hope to break into the 7's@over 190mph on a Drag radial. So we will see. The only change to our program was the chassis we were going to use was not allowed. So we have now moved up to an SN95 (94-98) chassis mustang. Thanks to the guys that helped us with finding the parts we needed, and a continued thanks to the guys that are helping us currently. JZ
  3. We are building a custom sheetmetal intake for our T engine. Plus in the chassis we have, we have plenty of room. In a Falcon it looks quite cramped and probably why their is so much piping. JZ
  4. We would love to use a Falcon body ourselves, but we can't bring one to the US and be legal in our classes. Would be nice though. I tink the faclon body is a solid axle and mini tubs away from being in the solid mid 9's. We though are using a fox body mustang.... <div class='bbimg'> </div>They are light fast and plenty of aftermarket parts and its still a Ford. Plus we think, judging by our measurements, that the XR6T engine will be an easy fit. We will CNC some custom engine mounts and custom bellhousing and it should be a wild ride. JZ
  5. That kit will support 800hp. You can upgrade to the PTE76GTS which that turbo supports 1100hp. JZ
  6. They are both small block Ford for the mustang and small block chevrolet for the truck. The Mustang is running twin GT47-88 turbos. The truck is running twin PTE-76GTS's. JZ
  7. Yeah but is that 10.5 a proper race time ? as in leave the line as soon as the light turns green ? if so its really not that great looking at what the supercharger v8's do <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 10.5 class is the tire size my friend. The class ET's are 6.8's-7.0's@200+ mph. We are looking to make 1700+ hp, not 700hp. Here is a video of one of the 10.5 class cars that we built.... Right click and save as..... And a 10.5 truck we did..... and the truck times are 1/8th, or for you guys 660ft. Right click and save as JZ
  8. Lol, we have built some of the fastest outlaw 10.5 cars in the world. We definitely have plenty of tricks up our sleeves. We don't need superchargers...hehe. Plus a big blower on a Xr6 engine would be useless. 2 step, transbrake and CO2 are your friend . Also may want to look at our competition's engines. 2JZ's running twin Y2K's on a staggered setup prove to be very potent. JZ
  9. We are going with Twin T70's on our drag car. Rules limit us to certain turbos. Twin T70's though are good for 1700+hp. In EZ street format, which is a certain class, we are not limited to turbo size, so we will be running a large Thumper setup. JZ
  10. Well it will be the block, head and some other parts...hehe.
  11. BTW, weight is 2900 lbs with driver and a heavier 5.0 L V8. Should be an awesome ride indeed. Still looking for an engine. If you know of a XR6T engine, please send us the info or post it as I check this post regularly. Also post up the location, as I have people that can do the shipping now, but need to know where the engine is in AUS. Another car for your viewing pleasure..... Car is a 68 Camaro with 502 BB, Twin T70's, Richmond 6 spd.....etc..etc Thanks guys JZ
  12. Here is what a Fox Body looks like......basically its the most widely used chassis for drag racing in the US. The only thing is almost everyone either uses the windsor 5.0 powerplant or they swap in for the new modular 4.6 engine. My little 4G63 is just my daily driver.....don't need alot of HP to go back and forth everyday...hehe. JZ
  13. Is the N/A motor the same except for compression?? Is the compression difference just due to piston difference?? Also does the N/A motor have piston squirters or does the Xr6 motor even have those. Also is the head the same and intake??? If they were all indeed the same then I would be interested. JZ
  14. We are looking for a turbo engine right now only. As for importing a car...well that would be very expensive indeed. Right now we are talking with Ford USA and seeing what they can do to help us. JZ
  15. BTW, here is his promo video.... Right click and save as.... JZ
  16. His car is running a PTE 101 Thumper series. From 91.5 to 106mm they are all the same outer physical size. Here is another picture which is more up close....enjoy..... <div class='bbimg'> </div>...
  17. TroughRolly, we saw an article on one of the mustangs web pages. We had been looking for something different to run. We are trying to bridge the gab between the import drag cars running I6's and the domestic cars running V8's. The imports always cry foul cause we have 2 more cylinders. We this now levels the playing field and now it comes to better head flow design and how much power we can extract from one of these motors. Blueboost, we plan to go well beyond where they have been. We are already working on the chassis to be able to clear Twin T70's and also be able to swap in a single style manifold with a Large frame thumper. JZ
  18. We have some contacts that we have called and we are going to try to make this thing a reality. I think a fox body with a XR6T engine properly done will see mid 7's@ 180+. BTW, I thought you guys might like this.....here is one of our many Promo video's using a customer's car....in this case its a truck...lol 4.5's@155+ in the 1/8th...with a Dart small block.. Right click Save As and Hang on JZ
  19. Sent you a reply already. Power, we won't need the exhaust manifold either. We are building 2 sets of custom headers for the engine. One will be a single T6 large frame, the other is for a pair of twin T4's. This will definitely be a custom deal. Custom is all we do...lol Here is some pictures of our customers cars... C5 TT GTO TT Viper TT Collins Pro car Onofre's outlaw Another C5 TT Fastest 10.5 outlaw car .....the list goes on and on.. JZ
  20. How much are the short blocks going for?? I can always get the shortblock, then find a head seperate, but it all depends on the amount of $$. I tried calling Ford racing here in the US to see if they had any connections on getting one of these engines. They didn't even know that a 4.0L inline turbo 6 exsisted..lol JZ
  21. We are still hunting for a stock Xr6T engine. IF you guys know of one let me know. We are looking for just the engine, I don't need the turbo, manifold, tranny...etc. If you find one with a blown headgasket or bad rings even better. This engine will be torn down as soon as it arrives. We have a full engine program that is ready to tackle all the weak points. I have some pictures of the block, and we can already see we will be modifing the head bolts, and cometic will be doing a custom headgasket for us. Also the block will need a Main stud girdle so we will be CNC'ing one for it as well. Should be fun to see a fox body mustang with a Inline turbo 6 giving the 2JZ supra's and RB26's a run for their money...hehe. JZ
  22. My biggest problem is availability. You can not find these engines in the US, so we are stuck trying to find one outside the US and then trying to ship it back...which is mega bucks. I am trying to see if some of these engine importing companies in the US can help us get one of these engines. JZ
  23. Thanks for the help, but yeah I have already seen the market is not very large yet for that engine. Looks like alot will have to be custom made. We do have CNC and flowbench facilities that help us. And yes we build a few fast cars..... www.forcedinductions.com and www.proturbokits.com Thanks JZ
  24. Thanks for the link. We are looking to push this car to 1400rwhp running methanol and are looking for all the info possible. I see Motec seems to be the engine management of choice. If Motec will run the engine, then our FAST system should able to as well. Also looks like a sheetmetal intake will need to be fabricated, which is not a problem. Is their any other sites with tech info?? Looks like that site is mostly bolt-on parts. Thanks JZ
  25. Hey guys, greetings from the US, you guys have some cool cars we can't get . I was trying to find out what the Xr6T engine block and crank can handle. We are looking to build a Fox body race car with a Y2K-88 and either a Xr6T engine or 2JZ. My only problem is their is not much data in the US about the XR6T engine and its capabilites. We already have lots of data on the 2JZ, but I would like to keep it an all Ford car. I am curious if anyone has pushed these engine over 1400-1500hp yet? I know the 2JZ's will do with the proper rods, pistons and half hard block. Also what standalone engine management if any is available for the Xr6T engine. Also, what is the going rate for one of these Xr6T engines go for?? Thanks Jose
