My BA has alway's had shudder the comes and go's, it has the click in the steering when overloaded, and now has developed a knock when getting off the breaks. I recon this is all because of these rack bolts. Can we fix these ourselves?

I got C.A.P.A box with my 05. I can't seem to get much knowledge on 'em. My tuner recons they're paperweights now coz the software doesn't exist anymore. It's all too technical for me. Could someone please explain the pro' and con's with these things in layman terms?

Look for 1 with a turbo. Give her a hard test drive. When I was looking, a lot had diff backlash, clutch shudder or slip, break shudder, weak drivers window winder, damage underneath coz they're low. power steering line leaks. logged oil changes. There's heaps to look out for

I'm having mine rebuilt. All new feed line without filter. Would rather "dirty" oil in bearing than none at all. around $2g. 2 day job. Nizpro Bayswater.

Every time I get into a good read I then realize most of it is in relation to the later models. Because I have so much to learn (like most) I was hoping to filter out the topics into similar models, features, mods ect. Am I missing something? Yep. Most late model cars are like this. With a manual, it allows you to crawl along in first gear smoothly. And is great for shift'n up when go'n hard in high revs

Is there anyone out there that has had a BA MKII since new? Mine has 100k on the clock / stock as a rock. Spending the bucks just to get it right first up. Quite a few issues.

G'day all. Absolutely loved my 05 for a week. Friday morning Turbo whistle farted and now there is none. Can't find any blown off hoses, so she's off to Nizpro on Wednesday. Here we go.... Cheer's for all the advise.
