  1. took em out myself and had a look. all seemed fine to me. Guess looks could be deceiving though. Would it be better just to replace them, cars at 105,000k with the stock ones. also would them leaking internally be the cause for my hard starts, and rough vibrating when she starts cold?
  2. bleh seems like my injectors are fine, had em looked at a few days ago. I pulled my sparks out today just to check them as well, they seem good. I did notice in a few of my coils though that there was dried up brown residue, looked to be fuel. was only on 3 of them though, 6,5,2 if I can recall, is that a bad sign? or normal?
  3. yeah might get them serviced. unless they have to be replaced
  4. but damn she shakes hard on start. been ongoing for months now. nobody can seem to fix it. also can smell petrol around the car sometimes. and oil had a petrol smell the other day. not sure if thays normal or not
  5. nah shes dead stock. vibrations seem to go away after 5- 10min of driving
  6. was wondering where I could locate the fuel pressure regulator on an 07 bf T. Im keen to replace mine as I believe it's the cause of my rough starts after the car has been sitting for a few hours. Leaning towards this because I've already done the batter, coils, and plugs. Any and all help appreciated, thanks!
  7. you must supply a delibery address I can't help but laugh at their wording...
  8. well gave this a crack today, Number 1 and 2 gave me no problems, but the rest of the coils would NOT come out, after trying for 5min with coil 3 the top of the coil came off with the spring from inside still attached, and the body was still down the shaft attached to the spark plug, scared me, so threw it back in, and only got to change 2 of the 6. Not sure why the top broke off, but I think I'll leave it for my next upcoming service. I don't want something to happen.
  9. well been it happened again this morning, really bad this time. Guess I'm going to try plugs this time :|
  10. well it's been a day now since I added the injection cleaner and filled up the tank. The car has had no problems starting from a cold start(14hrs), and seems like it's not having such a hard time accelerating, specially from the lights where before it seemed even 4cyl toyotas were able to overtake me. Will see how it goes over the next week or so before I decide to change plugs.
  11. Not sure how old my plugs are, guess it would be a good place to start. Also will pick up some injector cleaner today, thanks for the suggestions.
  12. Hi, sorry if this has been posted somewhere else or discussed, but I haven't seen anything after looking. For the past 2 months I have been having a lot of trouble starting my car from a cold start. It takes 2 turn overs just to get her going. When she does finally turn over and start it feels like a violent shake under the bonnet. I've been to 2 places to have a fuel pressure test done etc, but none can seem to find anything wrong. Had my battery checked because I thought it might be going, but all is fine there. Anyone have any suggestions as to what might be causing this? so annoying, and when I give her a boot full it feels as though it's struggling to accelerate. Car is a 2007 BF II turbo, only done 94,000k. Any help much appreciated.
  13. ah, that would explain. Thanks for that. I had a feeling the battery that came with the car looked a bit small, and really has a hard time starting in this cold weather. Time for me to get a better one.
  14. Hi all, first time poster long time reader. Recently noticed this lone piece of plastic in my engine bay below my battery, only had the car 4 months, so not sure what it's there or was there for. Any help much appreciated.
