G'day, new to this forum, but thought I'd share a bad experience with after market's. I bought a XR6T ute Feb 2011 and got 19's Dark Argents off ebay (Wheels2u - I do NOT recommend). Nothing but grief from day one. 3 of 4 wheels cracked (several times) and many buckles.Wheels 2U refused to cover under warranty. This subsequently bent left rear axle which Ford obviously will not cover......so don't go after market! I've just put 18's Speedy Panthers on which clear the brembo's and had them painted saturn black. The ride's a lot more comfortable and lifetime warranty on wheels. And pleasantly surprised with looks. If only I had my time again......... PS: I'd still go dark argents.....but genuine. They just seem to suit the car best. Good luck

Looks great mate, Dark Argents are the way to go I reckon........(just make sure they're Genuine......3 of my 4 after markets cracked - Wheels2u would cover them under warranty....bumma)

Thanks fellas, just spoke to a wheel supplier in Victoria earlier today (super tyre & auto).....says he can make me some black matt argents in 19" for $285/wheel or $460/wheel/tyre........Think I'll go with him. I like the idea of Matt Black. What you think?????

I did have a look at these, but wanted a black or dark wheel. They are a bloody nice wheel though....

G'day, just signed up as a new member and am looking for some sound advice on some Alloys. Will be getting my new XR6T Ute at the end of this month and would prefer some Black or Dark Alloys. The car colour is Edge (the old Ego) and was thinking maybe Dark Argents. Anyone got any suggestions &/or photos? Any advice or opinions would be appreciated...... Cheers big ears' cja
