Thanks for the reply champ and the heads up much appreciated. If I was buying an engine like this I would not buy online and would be most likely going to Ferntree gully ford wreckers.

Hello guys I have been thinking over a couple of weeks about a conversion to take out my current engine, transmission and diff and swap it all over with a BF or FG xr6 turbo running gear I need some info to back up my theory and would this be quite a easy conversion and also what would be the costs involved I have seen a xr6 turbo engine and ZF transmission sell for around 7.5k on ebay at one point. If I was to do this I would change the running gear everything from engine to diff. I need some opinions as to which shops would do these types of conversions in Melbourne south eastern preferably. Looking forward to everyone opinions on this. Thnx Tim.
