  1. Thanks for the good advice 'unclewal' budget is a difficult task to stick too with any mods to a vehicle. But you are right maybe I should discuss this with my tuner which more likely than not will be Mick, I'm just trying to save up a little more to go see him at Pit Lane an book an appointment. Thanks for the replies
  2. What would be the next best thing after ID's for the guys not willing to split with 850 for injectors?
  3. Hey guys. I've heard many great things about injector dynamics injectors and was wondering where I can get pricing from in Australia.
  4. Hey guys I enquired with xforce about a suitable Varex system to suit my full xforce twin 2 1/2" exhaust and they said that. one .. The muffler listed on their website doesn't even exist and two these muffler are not suitable for high powered vehicles when the valve is closed. So I'm not too sure as to what we can make of this information. so I have just left my xr6t as is and hope EPA Stays away

  9. Hey guys. Anyone know where I can get a hold of some replica coyote rims off the new GT? I know I can get them original but they are so expensive. And anywhere I call they don't have replicas as yet.. Thanks
  10. Hey guys, just need some advice, has anyone fitted bigger injectors on this site or should this be left for the tuner to do? also I understand the car will not run very well if they are changed although capa can supply a generic tune to get the car moving around driven to tuner. any ideas? thanks
  11. And if I put in the surge tank is there a need for the walbro? Thanks for the quick responses guys.
  12. And if I put in the surge tank is there a need for the walbro? Thanks for the quick responses guys.
  13. hey guys I'm planning on upgrading to Deka 60 injectors and tune for a hopeful 300 rwkw. My question is will I need a surge tank with the Bosch 044 pump or will an in tank walbro pump be enough to get the juice to the injectors? Thanks
  14. Hey Guys, Thought id add a reply to my own post in case any other members encounter troubles with installing Wide band afr gauges. I was able to get in contact with auto meter to find out if it were crucial for the data logger and other non essential items on the auto meter ultralite wide band gauges. What is needed is weld bung in the dump pipe for new sensor to go in. Wire up constant 12v source for gauge, wire up a good ground source and that should give you an accurate reading of the fuel mixtures. Feel free to PM me with any concerns and I can include them in this post.
  15. hey guys, got my wide band auto meter installed, bung will be welded up with my new exhaust system tomorrow. One thing to note though is that these gauges require a constant 12v (aprox) power source even during engine crank. Best way to wire these bad boys up is to look behind the inside fuse panel just at the pedals, behind the fuse box (found this useful information on this forum, wish I can remember the member name to thank them). you will find a silver connector, it is the last one furthest from the drivers door. it has a red wire with green stripe from memory it is the thicker wire. Thise wire is also fused so gauge does not get wrecked if a short was to happen. splice into this wire for the constant voltage needed and make sure a good ground source is connected for the black wire. Note: These wide band gauges also have many other capabilites such as data logging and Wide Open Throttle memory functions however are not necessary if just an afr reading is needed. Hope this information is useful to someone as I researched a lot about this gauge as it isn't the easiest to install. Feel free to PM with any concerns..
  16. Hey guys after some research on forum decided to purchase the autometer wideband afr gauge (ultralite series). However the wiring of the gauge has got me stumbled a little. Anyone installed one of these recently? Thanks in advance
  17. Hmm looks like back to sitting on the fence for me. Lol. Just out of curiosity how much am I looking at ovchange valve springs with injectors? And any recommendations where to do it in Melbourne?? Thanks
  18. I was thinking they would be safe too, only thought otherwise because the guys from Jim mock racing said it would be a waste of time if I did only injectors so was getting mixed answers. But if you guys are running with stock springs then I don't see the problem.
  19. Hey guys insure this question has been answered before somewhere just can't seem to find it. I have a bf mk II an was wondering if I'm aiming for about 300rwkw am I going to need valve springs replaced or just injectors. I know earlier ba's have the weaker valve springs but not sure if the bf can do with 300 rwkw. Thanks
  20. Thanks for the replies guys. And thanks Jc for the offer but actually just got a quote from local exhaust place he said he'll weld it in for 40. Thanks guys
  21. Hey guys, was wondering if anyone has any pictures they can post up of installing a wideband autometer air/fuel ratio meter. Even if anyone can answer where the wires go in my bf xr6t. Or where the sensor needs to be installed. Thanks guys. Oh and I understand the sensor needs to be installed just at the down pipe of turbo but where exactly and how?? Thanks.
  22. Oh so it's not just my car? I canfeel a little better now. Just hate the ideas of water where it's not meant to be. Have had troubles with that in other cars. Lol.
  23. Hey RHR, one more question mate did your heating system stop working when you noticed it was your core? Thanks
  24. I'm guessing the sound went away once you replaced the core? Any problems with not changing it?
  25. Hey guys. Just recently I have een noticing a sound like water flowing when I start my car and accelerate a tiny bit. It seems to only happen when cold or when she has been sitting an the switch on. It can also be heard when accelerating softly when still cold. It dissapears after about 20 seconds but just thought I'd see if any other blokes experience any sort of noise. Btw it sounds like water in a bottle being flipped upside down slowly. Any ideas?? Thanks
