Its a standard 04 4speed auto XR6T. I've only added a 3" extension pipe and pod filter off the end of the flexi pipe untill I get something more permanent made up, and bunged up the blow off valve. I only want to upgrade injectors and give her a tune, from what I've read alot of people see roughly ~240-250RWKW with about a 10psi tune and injectors?? Dave EDIT** I think I'll go with a Brisbane tuner from your recommendations, better to be safe then sorry. Guys, continuing on from my other thread, I have decided to go with a custom tune. I will be down in Caloundra area (Moffat Beach?)on the Sunshine Coast next week Monday and Tuesday. Can anyone tell me if there are any reputable tuners around there? I might be able to get my car slotted in on Tuesday hopefully before we head back Wednesday. I figured as much, I'm new to the XR6T crowd, coming from an S15 and a WRX you'd laugh if someone said something about a generic tune, but then with all these flash tuners on the Fords, alot of people have with the XR6T, so thought it'd be worth a shot to ask. Is there any tuners up the Fraser Coast way at all, or are they all down Brisbane & the coasts? As for warranty it's an 04, so no warranty on her anymore. Guys, Come across a deal for a set of 60lb injectors and a X3 tuner with 3 tunes on it from a company called Intune Motorsport. 8psi, 10psi and valet tune. Would these be any good, mainly safe? I'm assuming it should be ok, it will be on a stock XR6T, I only want to do injectors and a 10psi tune to get her up to ~250rwkw. Are mail order tunes any good in general? ALSO With the same kit from CAPA (300-330kw kit?) that comes with Injectors and Flashtuner, is this preloaded with maps, or do I need to take it somewhere? I live 3 hours up from Brisbane and just want a set of injectors and a tune to open her up a bit from the factory tune. Would these be ok for what I am chasing?
