Im waiting to phone back a dealer in sydney to see if they are willing for me to buy parts from the dealership an ship them over to Scotland. I can get some parts over here from uk models but not everything so would rather get the proper OZ items and I then know its for the falcon then.

Its a dealer who hasnt got a clue. Im also trying to find the paint code to see if its a mix available in the uk. The ute is a deep metalic purple?

im really interested in it but finding it hard to source service items. May try main dealer but if I cant it will be to expensive to import parts from aus for it.

lol ive not seen a vauxhall nova for over ten years. Ive offered £8000 no idea of aus $. Ive had plenty turbos mainly volvo and skylines though. Ive always lusted after a ute preferably v8 but very rarely over here unless you buy a hbolden r8 new as the dealers sell them in the uk but ford have no interest with the falcon. Bonus of the ute is sticking my motorbike in.

Well Hello all. Being in Bonnie Scotland we tend not to get these utes over her. By chance a 04 XR6 turbo ute has come up for sale with 45k on the clock. Now it has a few chips and bits on the paint but one thing that annoys me is that the stereo cuts out and back on if you turn it up to 20. The other part is the fuel cap sits slightly out at the front towards the passenger door? Is this an easy fix or is there an issue with the arm that swings the cap open? Any help would be greatly appreciated when looking this vehicle over as I have no knowledge of this type.
