  4. Ive always fancied buying another xr6 turbo engine and sticking it in either a mark 1 escort or tvr tuscan over here.
  5. Where is best place to get a hold of a centre CV joint for my utes tailshaft? have a little play in it after doing the centre bearing. Somwhere that's willing to ship over to UK

  7. Well I finally did another dyno run with herrod 1000cc injectors and fuel pump. 411BHP / 500Ft lb torque at flywheel. with 0.8bar. Not bad on std cooler which held it back so Process West one has been delivered and is gonna be installed next week before another shot on the dyno

  9. I chopped in my E60 M5 v10 in for an 08 C63 AMG best choice I ever made with the bimmer. It seemed to love the BMW dealership with its niggly electrical gremlins but did sound beautifull singing its V10 out through the pipes. A friend had his gearbox destroy itself on his X5 but was fixed under warranty. HE also had the dreaded water leak in the engine.

  11. Its becoming annoying. They now say its more than likely a problem with injectors but I dont want to buy another set of different injectors like the 1000cc ones id rather the problem was fixed or at least attempted to be fixed with the 440's I have. Decided to just park it in the garage for a while as im losing interest with the mapping side.
  12. It is delphi 440cc injectors but they are based on 440cc at 3bar and 510cc at 4 bar which makes me wonder if this is the problem.
  13. Quick question guys. Is the ba xr6 turbo got a 3 bar or 4 bar fuel pressure regulator on the rail? Im checking this today before I go for uprated pump. Reason I ask is on the tune the ute is running mega rich but the injectors are 100% maxed duty? Seems to it could be a simple fix and a check of the reg to see.
  14. I have just replaced the fuel filter. The problem is the map has it running very rich down to 10's on afr at full throttle. The duty cycle reaches 100% which is more than likely the pump as it is now running 440cc @ 3bar injectors I got from atomic along with the engine and other bits. Im sure its Herrods 230lph drop in unit im getting. Only made 360Hp and 450ftlbs torque at the flywheel which is when we found out the rich running and duty cycle. All good though as Herrod are sorting it out.
  15. Struggled to hit 140 this time. Im going to stick a sports cat in it to bring the noise level down. Found out that the tune is maxing out the injectors at 100% duty so holding power back way too much. It seems to be down to the fuel pump not beong able to keep up so the ecu is sticking th duty right to max. Ordering a new Herrod drop in tank unit for more flow to solve the issues im having.
