after a retune when the actuator and wastegate mod was done, it ended up producing 360 rwkw, Bit less top end but alot more mid range power.. Damn cant get the dyno sheet up at the moment.

Yeah worm just had the turbo ported yesterday and surge tank is not to far away, just picked up the car this morning.. yeah boost wasn't everywhere before hand.. but after the re-tune, boost looks more controlled and power is fatter in the mid range.

Yeah I'm keen to see how it goes down the 1/4 too SteveR. it does have some crazy top end though. Vcm is the Program for tuning made by Hp Tuners T6EGO....

G'day everyone. Have had my xr6t auto for about 2 years now, and had last lot of mods done at the start of the year. Currently running Rapid V2 kit Xforce turbo back exhaust, 3.5 inch dump, dual 2.5inch pipes injectors walbro pump VCM tune making 373 rwkw @ 15 psi also the car is in the shop (ESP Queanbeyan) at the moment as the turbo was rattling loose as studs had come out. While in there its getting the waste gate, flapper mod done and a 12psi actuator put in. Big thanks to Chris from rapid, for awesome gear, ESP in Queanbeyan for the great work they have done, and the boys in blue last week for reminding me that I cant use all that power to overtake some idiot doing 80 on the highway last week.

Yeah man for sure, would be up for it... snowy mountains highway is a awesome bit of road, good trout fishing between tumut and lake Eucumbene. But ill be on a road trip to PERTH!! So I cant make it.

So Yeah... Got my road worthy certificate today. Went to the local Exhaust Centre, the guys there took out the Gasket at the join, before the rear muffler and placed a custom plate that had 3 smaller holes per pipe, thus restricting flow and noise to 93db. UNFORTUNATLY still wasnt good enough for the guys doing the certificate(AGGRAVATING), so a quick trip to Bunnings. A pack of steel wool, A broom stick, to push it in to the end of the rear muffler A role of wire, to make a hook to fish it out straight away and I returned with a db reading of right on 90... Thanks everyone for you suggestions, in particular GREGOR for mentioning steel wool. Now I can go back to my Glorious sounding exhaust system, which I found out was actually 98db.

I must have the Louder system.Love the sound it makes wish I didnt have to quieten it..

Just wondering if anyone here has been pulled up for having their xforce system (mines a 3.5 inch dump and cat into 2.5 duals) to loud. Im changing my rego over at the moment into ACT, and it hasnt passed inspection because it went 96db.a bit hard to quieten down the system with the 2.5inch duals. So yeah just wondering how loud everyone else's system is that is similar?

Thanks *Beep* Yeah would be good to see the differnce. Raced a mate of mine with an Fg xr6T with an apparent 300rwkw(shootoutmode6). We stayed even till we backed off at the end of 3rd. Now he doesn't believe mine's dyno' at 267rwkw. I had a laugh... He had a whine...

Thanks sideways DTS in Canberra, they have been excellent with the work they have done with the tune on the engine and the ZF. I was wrong actually about the dynamometer its actually a pro Dyne dyno. (dont know if that makes any difference) extra 20kw would be very nice. Appreciated

Hi All Im an new Memeber, I have just recently purchased an 07 auto xr6t. A week ago I had a full 3.5inch xforce exhaust, kN airfilter, new injectors, vcm tune and a Zf auto tune done. The car is running 267rwkw(dynodynamics dyno) on 11 psi. From what I have read, the car can be tuned up to alot more without anychanges. (Engine simlilarities from 06/06 bf to f6) Would anyone know what the maximum safe tune would be for this setup (and max psi), as the guys who have worked on my car think anymore power will destroy it. All thoughts and recommendations for what to do next would be greatlty appreciated Thanks Shannon S.
