So Yeah... Got my road worthy certificate today. Went to the local Exhaust Centre, the guys there took out the Gasket at the join, before the rear muffler and placed a custom plate that had 3 smaller holes per pipe, thus restricting flow and noise to 93db. UNFORTUNATLY still wasnt good enough for the guys doing the certificate(AGGRAVATING), so a quick trip to Bunnings. A pack of steel wool, A broom stick, to push it in to the end of the rear muffler A role of wire, to make a hook to fish it out straight away and I returned with a db reading of right on 90... Thanks everyone for you suggestions, in particular GREGOR for mentioning steel wool. Now I can go back to my Glorious sounding exhaust system, which I found out was actually 98db.
