Did you ever get this sorted? I am having the same trouble. I checked the connections and they look fine...

None of those have PCI-E or AGP slots though =( Also, a bit off topic, but does anyone know if the dual core Atom will be able to playback standard def digital TV channels? I'd like to add a USB tv tuner to the build but not sure it it'll handle the playback.

Which Zotac atom board do you have in mind? I was going to go with one of the ION ones and use the converter that you were originally using for your Typhoon. It seems you weren't happy with that so I'm back to looking at an ArcadeVGA... but the ZOTAC ION boards don't have any PCI-E or AGP slots. So many potential ways to go...
