  1. PM sent norrs... Thought it had been two years and I should check back again lol. Keen for a cruise once this weather pisses off
  2. Yeah wow.. Where has the time gone. Cant believe it has been 2 years since I was last on here. I'm keen for a cruise, bens-xr6t you still in town? Will try and check back a bit more frequent
  3. Oh yeah Bob O'brian owns car consepts and he is a suppyier but dosent have a dyno. He get gets peckys to tune his car
  4. haha yeah he makes you take off your shoes before you walk in . Keelan Peck is the man to talk too, tell him I sent you and he will look after you. My name is craig and ive got a silver ba. He even has a bf running flat 11's, he loves these things.
  5. sorry guys, got abit carried away last week, was crazy. will be back in town in a week and a bit.
  6. G'day fellas, yeah will have to organise somthing. I work at a mine near tennant and the net has been done for a couple of weeks, but will be back this weekend if anyones keen for a cruise or somthing.
  7. G'day mate, haha that's pretty funny about the fuel. They sell bp ultimate here and the quailty would be close to as good as anywhere, just probly not in the wet season as hudmity gets to 3000%. I only fill up at bp on smith st in the city, that's where all the hoons fill up... from what ive been told I would defently reconmend you take your machine to get tuned by Keelan at "Pecky performance and dyno tune". Tell him Craig sent you, hes a good mate of mine. He even has a bf xr6 turbo with simlar power to you and run flat 11's in it. He loves these things. Not much has happened as far as turbo'ed falcon cruises but I see theres a few guys kicking around in this forum every now and then. With the heat up here, expect to feel the power drop, and see a big differance on the dyno, as its a killer this time of the year all the way untill the dry season next year. In the dry we get nice crisp cool nights down to as low as 12 degrees and bugger all hudmity.
  8. Haha yeah for sure. See Keelan at Peckys, he will point you in the right direction. He will be running his T at the NT Titles on 13-14 of July, trying to have a crack at running a 10. ANDRA have just changed there rules and now you can run as low as a 10.60 with out a cage in our late model cars. Both his T and mine will be on his dyno this sat, so if your not up to much drop in and say g'day.
  9. Mines all stock, 10.67 at 128mph. lol its funny watching peoples reaction when they ask me "whats the plan now" and I say "well I was thinking of ditching the factory turbo and runing somthing nearly twice as big"
  10. 1.53 on nitto nt05r's in full weight sedan with a 4 speed
  11. G'day Brad, I didnt know you were on here. lol I thought you might of just bought a falcon and joined the club
  12. Aswesome stuff mate, a big congrats to ya. So the question is, whats next? bigger turbo, aftermarket trans and push for a 9?
  13. G'day pissant, Yeah its pretty quiet on here. So are you still up here in darwin? I havent seen your car around, did you get a tune done up here? Heres a pic of my beast
  14. Yeah no worries. I got back to find a small leak of coolant under the front of the car and found its coming from the radiator. so I need to buy another one. I replaced the stock one with a flash rice paddy built radiator from e-bay about a year ago, but I supose serves me right, ill now be getting a pwr one I think.
  15. Hey dude, im back in town for the next two weeks as of tomorrow, if your keen for a cruise on the weekend give me a call on 0418450326
  16. I work at a mine doing a 2 week roster at the mine and 1 week home. After the drag meeting they didnt wear bugger all, mabey 10 - 15 % if that. ill be driving on them all the time as I dont clock up many k's on my week off, but the main reason is they have heaps and heaps more grip then good road tyres. And for me that means ill spin it up less and shouldnt chop them out as quick. With these tyres on the street they are border line to spinning it up coming on in 2nd gear. Some times it does, some times it doesnt. Where as good street tyres are border line in 3rd at 120 plus. The nitto tyres coming on in 3rd gear feels like the car is on train tracks
  17. How long have you been at ranger? Do you remember a sparky named stuart thompson? Hes here now
  18. Yeah, old Joycey was here. I remeber I got bogged in a lv out near a bore, joycey then tried to pull me out with our telly handler and got it booged too. lol there were a couple of cartons drank that night. He left a while back now. Do you know him?
  19. Oh yeah, they dont need much of a burn out too. Just enought to pump out a touch of smoke and dry the tyres leaving the pad. And also I dropped the pressures to 24psi once I rocked up at the track, I then just kinda forgot about them
  20. that's what she looks like standing still, so you can compare to how good it hooks up in the other pick
  21. Here's a pick of the car hooking up
  22. Cheers guys. I bought them as a pure long shot. I asked my mate/tuner up here in darwin (who has a bf xr6t and has done a 11.2), what was a good drag radial and he suggested I go for the mt ets, as he had them. I dropped in to a tyre dealer that supplies advans for my circuit car and his quote was throught the roof . So I jumped on ebay and had a look. By memory the cheapest mt et's in the 275/40/17 profile was around the $700 before post. I then saw these nitto nt05r's in the same 275/40/17 profile at $460 a set and thought stuff it, even if they arent as good I can go through two sets of these for the price of one. When I fitted them and showed my tuner he said "well I havent seen any other car run them but they should be decent, you should of got the mt et's but as they have been proven many times" I started to think mabey I have probly wasted my money but on the road they were defently alot better tyre then the street tyres I had been running. Also at $520 delivered from "wheel tech" on ebay, I wasnt too fussed. Well when I got to the strip, fark me. They were awsome. 1.53 60ft was my best of the night. My first two propper runs were in the 1.6 then my last two were 1.5's. I believe I could of got nearly a flat 1.5 60ft, or even crack into 1.4's. Thinking back now, I wish I gave it too much off the line and smoked em, just to know the limit of the tyres. Through out the night I just got quicker and quicker every run. My tuner mate who has alot of experenance in drag racing was standing just behind my car watching the tyres every run and he said it could of got off the line a tad harder even in my 1.5 60fts. So in the end my mate will now be purchasing some nitto's to replace his old and hard mt's
  23. Alright, sweet as. Will let ya know when im back and about
  24. Oh true sh*t, yeah im out at bootu. I have seen that f6 around awhile ago. Why is it off the road? Is he going to have a play with it? Im guessing you drive a xr8? What colour is it and have you done much to it? I missed the bass this year, but going to the xxxx summer party and will be having a big one for the v8's. What roster do you do? Do you stay out at jabiru or in darwin?
