Thanx for the replies. Understand the pwr off choice but really should not have to with todays technology. Never had a car with this issue with the audio system. Actually just got the salesman to check some cars in the lot and it appears to be common. Disappointing if this is how it is. Still interested in any other observations.

Picked up my new G6ET last weekend and am very impressed. April 09 build. One issue that is bugging me though. The audio system. When the volume is down to its lowest volume level there is an audible hiss from the speakers. Does not matter whether CD, radioo or ipod is selected but when the volume is turned down the hiss is there through all speakers. Anyone else noticed this or am I missing a set up option or something? Cheers Steve
