  1. Guys, What do I need to do to post in the "Cars for Sale" board? Sorry if this has already been asked.
  2. So, how'd ya get the instrument dash out and open it? what globes did you use?
  3. Hello again! Another project; Changing the Colour of the Instrument panel Illumination / brightness! Has anyone Done this before? Basically, I find the damn thing hard to read as a mysterious blue... and it's not as bright as I would like... I have some theories already on how to increase the brightness, but the colour... hehe Any ideas?
  4. Found it thanks :D Had great fun pulling apart the center. I hope the mod team doesn't hurt me - I'm gonna make another thread, BUT it's a different project this time! completely different questions.
  5. Ok, Another one, where can I run cables from the center unit to under the bonnet - is there an area behind the center console? I know in my old AU there was a cable gutter that ran out from the passenger side floor well.. And where is a good place to run the cables from inside the Car to the underside?
  6. Guys, Couple of questions; How do I remove the tray highlighted... It appears to be separate from the rest of the unit, so not that difficult... but how do I get it out? If you could post a quick 1,2,3 step process on getting that out would be fantastic! (pictures would be awesome, I don't want to f*ck my console up :( ) I think you have to remove the "sides" of the center dash, so how and where do I do that without doing damage? where are the clips? Also, does anyone know someone in Brisbane that does roof upholstery - IE; change the material from gray to black or some other material
  7. Yeah, an intermittent supply like that; isn't gonna work - as I need constant power - which will be controlled by my switches of course.
  8. Hey guys, I have a little project going on to get some neon lighting going. Yeah neons, boo, whatever. The point is, I know some basic electronics - but not alot about the electronics in a falcon. IE; got my wiring diagram out and couldn't make sense of it. So here's the deal; I'm buying 3 of these Dual Neon Kits from Flexiglow; (Skipping the molex PC connections of course) and putting them at the following locations (marked by an X duh) I'm going to hook it up to a small "project" box mounted inside the center console... with wiring similar to this shabby diagram; But here's the punchline; Where should I get the power from? Is there a cable that runs to the inside of the vehicle that can be used for this type of lighting? I've had a look at the BF wiring diagram and have my suspicions, but I want to be 100% sure before I go piggy-backing a vital cable or something stupid. any other tips or pointers would be appreciated - and yes, I know neons are illegal whilst the engine is running in Queensland.
  9. Hi guys, I have a BF XR6... now I know it's not the turbo version, but their basic wiring structure is the same... I'm looking at installing some lighting and some extra gadgets, Does anyone have a wiring diagram/schematic/blueprint I could use? I just need to know where I can safely draw power for small 6" 12v cathode tubes, some LED lighting and LCD monitor - I will be controlling the On/Off via a switch console in the HUD. Some will be needed in the boot, near the rear wheel arches and in the bonnet. as well as in the dash. Cheers, ~E
