  1. Reverse the polarity of the stock sub. They are out of phase from the factory. It makes a big difference to the overall sound and costs you nothing.
  2. Not a huge amount of mods to get there but yes, you'll need bigger injectors. So far its fine without the LSD. Have a look in this thread: http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/76565-black-g6et-50th/page__view__findpost__p__1134725 The little FG turbo runs out of puff at about the same time the exhaust becomes a restriction anyway. Unless you are upgrading the turbo in the search of more power or just want the sound, I reckon keep it stock.
  3. Just do the cat. Mine made over 320rwkw with the stock exhaust - just a high flow cat added. Same sound level as factory.
  4. Is this tuned yet? If so, how is it?

Cheers. The photo shows the cooler more than in real life too. It's a true sleeper at the moment! Only thing I don't like under the bonnet is the BOV outlet hose. Looks ugly. I think I'll look at doing something else there.

I'm using the Process West turbo side intake. Here are some photos and a dyno sheet:

Im really suprised how well it puts the power down to be honest. When provoked it will fry the tyres but generally its fine. Also suprising how well the open center diff goes. Always spins both tyres...

Yep. Doing it easy. Turbo port definately did work - 12psi flat right through, juuuust tailing off at the end due to the stock exhaust. Stock exhaust still. Turbo wont make a whole lot more than that anyway - as Mexicanbatman eluded to. You gotta pay to play. Simple as that. Insurance isnt a problem with Shannons. Cost a fair bit. I could have done it a lot cheaper without going for things like the PW stage 3 and the ID injectors. Call up Mick or Bel and they'll set you straight on prices.

So I picked this up from Pitlane today. Wow. It seriously hauls! 316rwkw at a lazy 12psi! Very happy with it and the crew at Pitlane Performance. Highly recommended.

Im upgrading it because it's cheap insurance for me at the power level I'll be at. Car was dropped off this morning at Pit Lane Performance. Can't wait to see how it drives afterwards!

  16. Hey all, As per the topic - does anyone know if the Process West S3 intercooler kit and Plazmaman battery relocation kit work together ok? Im worried that the battery will foul on the cooler piping. Any info is appreciated!

So I've had this a little while now and I still love it. One of the only cars ive had where I dont mind being stuck in traffic or stopped at a red light! Completed the FG subwoofer mod which made a huge difference to the stereo. Ordered a Process West intercooler kit and intake today too...

Just did 6 hours in it. Love it even more now. Eats up freeways beautifully! Satnav is average though. Might just need more time to work it out...

Thanks for the welcome. Been a member here for a while as noticed, just havent posted till now. Picked it up last night, needed cleaning this morning already! Fog light surrounds are different on the 50th's. Same colour as the grilland rear bar insert.

Picked this up last night. G6E Turbo 50th Anniversary Edition. My first Aus built car. Completely stock for now. Plans are for basic mods for 300rwkw and slight lowering. Gotta say though, in stock form they are a bloody good drive. Smooth, grunty, comfortable. Although, after my last car (TT Supra with viagra spec coilovers) anything would be more luxurious! Got a 600km round trip planned tomorrow - can't wait.
