I was very tempted to point out the irony of the situation, or at least thank him that it wasn't me headed off to the panel beaters. But I fear the Gods who dish out such superb justice. Don't want to draw their attention to me by laughing too hard.

Hi folks, you'll see from my stats that I don't post a lot, just lurk around here soaking up the good info. But I had to share this with you. I was waiting for a car park in Canberra this afternoon and as the guy pulled out some smart&*se in a VN Late model camira came around the corner and went straight into the space I was waiting for. I was fuming but in too much of a hurry to make a fuss. So I got another park and as I was walking to the ticket machine there was an enormous crunch. Someone drove straight into the VN, sitting where my T was meant to be. Wiped off the shabby rear bumper and the driver's look of smug satisfaction at getting the carpark. I know I shouldn't gloat, but I've been chuckling about it all afternoon.
  3. Go with your gut instinct Marty, stick with the citric acid. If you're going to make a statement, you might as well make a big one. And if you're crazy about the colour, stuff what other people think. I had a colleague in the car park at work the other day tell me she liked my new T but didn't like the colour (Acid Rush). I told her I didn't buy it for her!!!

Give us a bit of time to get on top of the car expenses (rego, insurance, tinting) and I'll see what I can do Vik. Maybe I should explain the name ... I should say I'm not a huge lord of the rings fan. Saw the first movie, hated it. Didn't go back to the others. I'm originally from Bris Vegas and the local paper up there, The Courier-Mail, was running a web cam on some Peregrine Falcon that had nested on a city building and was attacking hapless pedestrians. They dubbed the bird Frodo and the website frodocam. Among the information on the site was that peregrine falcons can fly as fast as a formula one car. So ... a low-flying, high-speed falcon named Frodo. It was a natural. It became the nickname I gave my car while waiting for it to arrive (which it did this week), and has kind of stuck. Sorry to disappoint Tolkein fans.

Hi all, Another new XR6T owner, unable to stop grinning like an idiot while on the road. (And also still wondering how I got this approved by the leader of the opposition). Have been reading the forum for a couple of months, which have actually seemed like a couple of years, since placing my order last year. It's a brilliant site. Thanks for all the good info. If you see a new Acid Rush turbo on the streets of Canberra, give us a wave.
