4 New tyres Here , had crack on inner side walls - have done about 30,000Km's and they replace all 4 with new tyres at no charge. So check your tyres out for cracks - its worth the look

I think the Dunlops are a very soft compound therefore prone to flat spots, Alignments and wheel balances won't fix it.

I've got the same problem - squeeling belt and shavings every where Hopefully its been repaired today with the leaking coolant and shuddering brakes. Must be common. Did they replace the belt, as the belt has worn.

I don't know want you mean about throb, but if you mean running rough (ie: like 5 cylinders ) then yes. This isn't consistant and not only on cold start but warm start as well. After about 30 seconds or so all is OK.

Recently I’ve noticed some stone chips which is expected, but the paint is very thin and chipping very easily compared to my other vehicle. Is it worth getting paint protection – some firms state that it will stop chips, is this true. Also have other members noticed that the paint finish is poor with too many corners cut and over spray under the hood and fuel cap.

Any news on the finished product - I'm very interested

Coolant leak must be a common problem - one of the ford service rep's said to look out for it - and yes its start to drink the green juice Going in this week to get repaired

Hopefully there is a fix soon. Going in this week to get disc machined again - first time at 3k now at 6k

Quite interesting, Just had 3000k service and I mentioned to the service guy that the brakes seemed to shudderd very slightly. It seemed to me that they are aware of the problem so they promptly machined the disc's - normal there would be questions like at what speed does the shudder accure at / or is it under hard braking or normal braking, but no questions at all. My main concern was QC as the XR6T was delivered with a crease on the bonet, paint chips, rear door that doesn't close properly, doors not lined up evenly and rear parcel self not inserted correctly. talk about pre - delivery $900 what for. My driving is mainly city with little highway use other than that - what an awesome machine
