Hi all, Club Motavate is holding a show and shine event at the end of the year. I had a aps phase 3 kit installed by tim and I am extremly happy with the result. tim also gives great advice and helps me with anythink I need for the car. highly recommend the work

I have a 06 BF xr6 turbo 6 speed manual with 300rwkw and when I race I have to change the gears to much is there a way of allowing the gears to last longer like first I change at 80 then 2nd I get like 2000 revs before I have to change again. I feel like I should go first to 3rd do I need to change diff ratio

I am thinking of buying a clutch from jim berry I think in sydney not sure, anyway just want to know if anyone has heard of him and what his clutchs are like. He is saying to me that he is using same clutch in a 9 sec car and hasnt broken made with kevlar I think, he metioned.

-have you replaced the gear because you went higher hp? -with the tune yer he does emm himself with the capa software and there isnt much difference then I dont know who to believe now I spose all that matters is who you beat! -might have a look around but they are priced quite well there! thanks mate. yer true but we have other benefits over xr8 1 being fuel and also I am guessing more low down torque yer wasnt the smartest thing to do he seemed to think it would hold up for a while, but had no chance

ahh so you had work done at tims too?? what kw you up to now yer so true tim exchange the unichip with a flash tuner for me at same price all up was $9970 + new spakeplugs and couple other things

yer I know what you mean but my mate has a godzilla gtr with 500hp at the wheels and I have to beat him

yer was slipping in 4th as soon as I left the shop but up to 3rd was good for a while dont think it would be 50kw difference that's quite a bit the aps phase 3 kits from aps website is 330rwkw at wheels but my car though it is a 06 might not cut it. as they say every car is different

I am pretty sure its not a 044 fuel pump either on mine anyway tims says the pump was good for 500hp but as far as I know the 044 pump is good for 800hp

yes well as I said tims is the lowest reading dyno in perth for true power depending where you had work done so if I took my car to another dyno I would prob get 350rwkw maybe that's why the standard clutch only lasted 4 days. the aps phase 3 from the website says it is 390kw at the engine.link to phase 3 http://www.airpowersystems.com/falcon/phase_iii.htm I gave emm a call at autotech engineering as they have taken over aps I believe about a phase 4 system as the website has said still testing for like 3 years????? anyway he said its just a engine rebuild + couple other bits and pieces up to $12000

ha nice just seen what you meant yer tis great number but I will be moving on you have plans for upgrades too??

not sure which plenum to get I like the aps one where the intake stays in same position as standard but the other plenums all have intake at front any suggestions is it better throttle respose because I believe having intake in middle would be better distribution of air than the front.

pretty much I have done everythink that can be bolted on, bar the new plenum which I will get to soon. new turbo actuator change waste gate 42lb injectors, 3.5 dump pipe 3.5 high flow cat ends in twin 2.5 sounds bloody awesome. also biggest intercooler possible, used a version 1 flash tune. runs at 15 psi. new clutch on way cant drive right now as standard clutch cant handle the power is a 6 speed

ahh 302kw so I am good

ahaha bugger thought 405hp would be more that 300kw will have to put it up to 16 psi
