Ok I have searched for hours and Ive admitted defeat. This is prob noob question of the centuary and Im embarrased. Any way... I wanted to check my tranmission fluid and do you think I can find it??? Pleae where does transmission fluid go and where can I check the level??? BA 2003 xr6t Auto. Many thanks

Hi folks I have a 03 BA XR6T(Auto) and have had no problems for the last 3 years. However recently it has started to either not go into gear or slip out of gear. For example if I put it in reverse and accelerate the engine revs but its like it is still in neutral. Also when accelerating from the lights its like the engine revs and its like it slowly goes into gear and takes off. Im thinking this is serious but have no idea what. Any thoughts, I guess im just preparing myself before I take it into a mechanic.
