  1. to give you an idea... the damage I had repaired was.. 1 day panel work 3 days trying to match paint it is clear that octane is a fader, but only time will tell how bad, I contacted ford 2 weeks ago asking about it, but have not yet heard a response from them. so for any future paint work on this colour, make sure ya painter has a good eye!
  2. OCTANE colour (orange) had a minor dint repaired a while ago and was told that the colour the computer spat out when the colour code was put it, looked nothing like the colour on the car, this colour fades really bad! apparently ford has withdrawn this colour ??? anyone with this colour had any painting done ?
  3. Hi, I am looking at buying a BF GT front bar and a BF typhoon rear bar, just want to know, who makes them and does a good job, any comments/suggestions would be great. PS. anyone got and want to sell a standard BF XR6T rear bar aswell ? Thanks
  4. I have seen 2 types of GT bars, BA and BF im guessing.. What are peoples thoughts on the 2, what looks tougher in to you, as I want to get a GT bar for my xr6t, I kinda like how "plain" the BA? bar is, not sure if I like the black fog light surrounds on the BF? bar, but the BF bar looks great otherwise. anyone know of anyone else who sells the bar other than Bogan special and CARMATE ??
  5. Yes, I was careless and I have hit a gutter pretty hard on the left side, has done cosmetic damage to wheel and a bit of paint off the front bar (who cares, I planned on changing them in the future anyway). BUT! I have done some damage to the front left suspension, I had a scraping noise from the front left, took it to ford, it ended up being the wheel bearing... they replaced the wheel bearing and hub (apparently). then I took it for a wheel alignment, they said something is out, as in bent, what chould it possibly be ? and does anyone know the proper names for all the suspension parts in the front end, so I speak fords lanuage when I ask if they can replace that part, there is 2 suspension arms, shocky and a steering arm ? I hit the buttom of the wheel side on, the wheel is straight up and down (no camber, top in, buttom out). The wheel aligner can't adjust it anymore, I'm guessing replacing all the suspension parts in the front left would fix it ? but that would hurt my pocket! Who am I better off taking it to ? ford or a suspension place like pedders ? Thanks.
