whats the damage on a ratio change? think I'll eventually have to get one with a standard 6sp and 3.45..

from another member 100kph in 6th will be @ 1750 rpm :blink:

probably be lookin at 70kph in 1st too!!

Yeah sixth gear is approx 1750 at 100kph... :nono: between 1300 and 1400 for the ratio swap but its a bit hit and miss apparently with the different series of diffs that are in these cars. Probably be better to source a 2nd hand for a sedan to get the correct ratio.. :blink:

Luke, I can supply new gears in 3.73 or 4.1. I run 3.73 in mine and it does 2000rpm @100 in 6th with the standard 17's. Mal

Gears are in...Aldo and the guys at AD Diffs in Balcatta did a great job.. :msm: The thing goes like :stirthepot: now. Pulls so hard its not even funny. Traction is none existent in 1st and 2nd now.... :Doh: 5th and 6th are now much more usable. 100kph in 6th is aprox 2000rpm.. :spoton:

Im 100% stoked....expect for the hole i put in my bumper..... :spit:
