Hey guys went out to calder with my cuzins Mercury silver f6.

times on standard dunlops

1st 12.99 107mph

2nd 12.98 108mph

3rd 12.93 108mph

3000km on the clock

Not bad for a car he bought for $52,000 drive away Employee, with 19ins. 6 speed AUTO. Sheer german.

No stalling of 2nd gear was attemted, but next outing it will be tryed this should bring the times to prob 12.8.

At least were man enough and proud to tell other members on the forums what the f6 does standard.

Typhoon is Stock, with standard Foam airfilter for FOMOCO.

Just stall and go.

Now I want to know why I could do no better than a 13.2, even though I had a 2.0 60' time

I tried every which way to go faster including the 2nd gear stallup, but nothing seemed to make much difference.

I also got bugger all wheelspin, so traction was not a problem.

I guess I just need to do it again on a colder night.

Well done on the sub 13's times, it is an awsome car.

I was so close to putting the T on the market when I get it back... and this is just making my choices harder. great times! I think I'll wait a year or so and let the prices drop a bit more..

These F6s are great for stock cars.. considering I might just beat that time in my modded T with 5 speed manual :crybaby:

great time for the F6.

there was one in sydney that pulled a 12 as well!!

as the temp gets colder the times get quicker!!

the auto boys have a big step in front now with this 6 speed!!

I had an xr6 turbo stock keep next to me in mine with 320rwklw for 100m off the line... after that I walked over him but it scared the crap out of me(I have a 6 speed manual)

I pulled up next to him and asked what he had done!!

he smiled and said it has 250km on it and he had picked it up 2 days before!!!

I need more power to keep up with a stock car!!

I am going to go put my head in the sand!!!!

lol

Yep that new auto just does it, when you stall 2nd in performance mode, you wack it back into first and you get that extra 250rpm off the line. I will try this next time.

Yes it works, I cant do it without it going back to 1st on its own, Mauz does the whole thing in 1.2 seconds when he drove my car , maybe I am just to slow.

I have seen 1.91, 60 foot stock with the BMC 12.7.

What day did you head to Calder?
