Front hub nut specs issue

Hi guys, my bf 2 has been great of late but I thought I would throw a set of front hubs and breaks on it today and had a little issue. One side was fine did the hub nut to the 300nm fine. The other could only get about 140 out of it. 

 

After a small drive all felt fine, thinking should I put a new front axle on it and torque accordingly, would this be an easy job or best left to the experts ?
