hi, I was just wandering if anyone could help me solve this problem that came up with my 2004 xr4 ba mkii ute last week.

I was driving it normally then I gave her a bit off a boost nothing to extreme though and about a minute latter I noticed my acceleration was extremely jerky.when I got home I turned it off and when I turned it back on again the idle sounded lumpy but and inconsistent. I also noticed today there was a cluncky sound from underneath the car but I am not sure weather this has to do with the problem if you have any ideas what this could be please don't hesitate to suggest it because I have no clue at all I am lost for ideas what it could be.
