Lost All Power Steering

so after last nights spirited driving..
I have lost all power steering.. while driving it comes and goes (had a rather interesting trip to work today)

car is under warranty still will take it into ford

just wondering if this has happened to anyone else in there fg did a search but nothing came from it

surely im not the first for this to happen

What kind of "spirited" driving? If it involved a lot of steering work then the pump might have sh*t itself

haha yes there was a lot of lock to lock action yeah my money is on the pump..

I guess its not really a common problem

I've seen a pump go with a lot of steering work. If its under warranty then I don't think you have a problem. Could have even cooked the ps oil and gotten air in the system

I have same colour G6ET as you. I also was in SPIRITING driving mode yesturday.. after a 3rd gear power skate then swinging into a few tight loops, I was lock to lock in loop mode.. 20 min later when I arived in my drive way.. BAM no power steering. and now it makes clicking/griniding sounds. when steering still. once you build up speed its easier to turn. It has its moments of hard to soft to normal steer feel.....

What was your fix in the end mate?
