Snorkel From F6

Chaps, where can I source an F6 snorkel from that I read a bit about on here? And are they a straight fit for the FG XR6T?

In the FG the entire intake is identical in the F6 and XR6T. The 5.4L V8 FGs have a different snorkel and lower half on air box.

If you want more induction noise look at Growler, Herrod, Process West, Plazmaman etc for replacement intakes with big pod filters. I got a Growler on mine and it makes a nice difference to induction noise and much better throttle response also.

.........but everyone will say to go turbo side if you want to change intake :)

I can't justify $400 odd just for a new air box. Was looking for a cheaper way of flowing a bit more air

In that case just change to a K&N panel filter and drill a couple of 60-80mm holes in the front of your current lower half of airbox.

The only larger snorkel you will get for an FG is the V8 one for a 5.4L and they require a new lower half of airbox and event they are a couple of hundred.
