Hi all,

Just thought whilst on the topic of cleaning/detailing etc I would pass on some info about the best performing chamois available. A fellow I know that owns a smash repair place have only ever used the perforated style chamois and now so do I they are by far the best thing available to give your pride and joy a streak free and water spot free finish without scratching. They are very hard to get and are very rarely sold via the normal retail outlets

Can u give us any more info on these Kato???Manufacturer, brand name

I picked up a Car Smart synthetic chamois from my local (Hornsby NSW) Auto One. They didn't have the Plas Chamois - my first choice.

This one is blue in colour and is great. Very happy with the results. Price was $21.

Is that the Blueprint or Norma Blue colour :hiwelcome:

Can you get it in all the XR* colours :kissmy:

Sorry for the delay guys I have been trying to find their contact details and I hope this isn't considered advertising I just know that I have been happy with the product. I don't know if this will help those of you outside Brisbane but I'm sure they could arrange postage if you can't find a local alternative. The company is called Eazy Gleam Products (Cooper Plains Qld- I Think) I would suggest that if you contact your local panel shops that they could give you the name of their suppliers as an alternative for you guys interstate, as mentioned before it's my understanding that most body shops use this style of Chamois could be wrong?

Anyway hope this helps.

Regards

KATO

I use an "aios" synthetic chamois. $15 from big w I think it was. works fine. brings the car back to brand new condition.

It is always used (once per week total wash, vacuum, chamois interior and exterior) and hasn't worn yet.

Hey have you guys tried to chamois the dash and doors etc? works great! I always do ours.
