hey lads,my remote stopped working a few weeks back,it has always been a bit dodgy .it has a broken solder joint under the battery it but I keep it packed tight inside which keeps pressure on it.so its been ok like that for a year or so.anyway,it just stopped working completely.a couple of weeks have gone buy and while its parked I hear my horn going on and off ,and so were the indicators. this has happened a couple of times in the last week.and the remote has started working again sometimes.but today while I was parked sitting in the car a little red hand was flashing on my dash.so im thinking maybe it has a bigger problem than just a crook remote?any ideas?couldnt find a whole lot about it with google.

The red hand flashes as a theft deterent so it's normal for it to flash when car is off. As for the horn and indicators going off,your remote is the problem. The panic alarm button is probably dicky and activating by itself.

time to get a new remote I guess!
