hi I got a 2003 xr6 turbo with a rattle in it but the thing is it runs fine but have parked it up in case I destroy the engine has anyone had a oil pump failure

possibly just the belt tensioner mate. pull the belt off and see if it stops. had the same thing and I plus most others thought she was on the way out. turned out to be sfa. hope its the same for you.

yeah I should have looked through the other posts on here first it sounds like a few other engine noises that people have posted and im afreyed to say its bent rods bugger oh well strip her down and make it stronger
