Fg F6 Issue

Featured Replies

Hope someone can help with the issue ive come across with my car,

Car is a Fg F6 ute -

Under light, heavy throttle the rpm gauge has almost like a hop in it. As if the toqure converter is playing up or something along those lines.

Ive attatched a video as it is hard to explain.

watch as the needle has a pulse in it on and off the throttle.

Any help or idea would be awesome.

Can you feel it or is it only on the tacho?

I can feel it at higher rpms, not under low rpms. When theres a full 2nd gear pull, you can feel the pulse in the way its pulling. Its got me stunned

Mine used to pulse/surge when cold before I got it tuned. Have you checked coils etc?

mine does that

gentle acceleration in any gear under a little load you can see the needle move up and down doesn't look as bad though and I cant feel it through the seat but I can see it on the tacho

I'll go over them later on today. My car has also been tuned but seems to be down on power for the mods done

mine does it and also at constant speed, say sitting on 50`kph, dead flat road, tacko moves just slightly up and down even though the speed doesn`t change, cannot notice it/feel it what so ever.
