Whine On Acceleration

Featured Replies

There's a loud whine coming from under my car when I accelerate heavily.

Ford told merits the transmission and that it's normal.

Does anyone else have this?

My partner said it sounds like diff whine. I thought it sounded like diff whine too but apparently its the tranmission and it's normal for the 6 speed auto

Thanks Dillz. I was worried, I had it in there the first time and they said they couldn't find anything. Then I took them for a drive and showed them and he said it's normal.

It goes in on Wednesday because the ICC keep resetting itself and there is a clunk occasionally when I break.
