July 26, 201115 yr #1 After opinions on either from people who have used them on the rear. I've read some impressive stuff from the U.S. but majority of people are running them in 305+ width sizes so little hard to tell. I'm after the best 245/19 tyre I can get on and Nitto appear to be best value/tread life/grip compromise. Are the NT05's dangerous in the wet?
July 26, 201115 yr #2 I've just fitted a pair of invo's on the rear, 245/40/18 and the grip is excellent. The only problem is the car feels like it's lost some power because it does'nt spin in second anymore.
July 26, 201115 yr #3 Not bad in the wet really, better than the re001's I had by sh!toads wet and dry..
July 26, 201115 yr #4 Put a set of invo 245 19s on the rear of mine, still breaks traction like crazy 1st,2nd and 3rd. But the tyres where brand new, once they scrub in a bit I'd say they will be better, but its been raining ever since so can't really test em out..
September 3, 201115 yr #5 Author Any more users of either? Nt05 tread life? Will Invo give me grip in 2nd with 290rwkw? I've gotta get one of the two this week.
September 4, 201115 yr #6 Didn't think there was any left in that size? Where are you getting them from?
September 4, 201115 yr #7 Author Ebay! They've been on there this whole time but I've been trying to hold out for Taleb cos he's a sponsor. I just ordered 245/40/19 Invo's. Don't care there's a touch more rolling diameter, bit more sidewall is good. I'll let people know how they go.
September 5, 201115 yr #8 I've had the Invo's onb for about 3 months now and they simply can not be beaten for all round grip to $ ratio!I was even able to do a 1.8 60fter on them at the drags(245/40/18's)!allrounder go Invo all out grip go NT05's!
September 6, 201115 yr #10 Author Came home and found some Invo's had been delievered Get them fitted tomorrow.
