Noise From Rear Left Hand Side While Turning

ok well as the topic states theres a dull grinding/knocking sound coming from the rear left hand side of the car somewhere. This only really seems to happen when turning right and under power. Doesnt do it while just turning with no power. Also hearing a cluncking/dull thudd from the rear over some bumps, not sure if these problems are realted? Anyone got any ideas? CV? I had a look under the car and doesnt appear to be anything wrong with it?

I know the diff needs a rebuild, as its got excessive backlash, but the cars never made these other sounds till just recently.

Anyone know a good place to get a diff rebuilt? Anywhere round ferntree gully, bayswater, ringwood . Anywhere round those areas are good for me. Even pitlane if that's gonna be the best place to get it done.

So umm seems to be getting worse and happening a bit more :s anyone know a place? Would really like to go speak to someone about it tomorrow and see what can be done about it.

Well went to trans diff in kilsyth for a quote and they told me

Labour 400

Re race 550

LSD 350 ~ 450

Sound about right?

The only over the top price I see is the re race?
