baf6 Member 139 Member For: 17y 5m 11d Posted 15/03/11 07:07 AM Posted 15/03/11 07:07 AM (edited) Hi Guys,Noticed last night that my oil pressure guage (standard F6 guage)was maxed off the scale. so I pulled over and turned the car off and it went down slowly, then just turned the reds on and it was reading the same with the engine off, now today its reading normal again, have taken it for a drive though.So what im wandering, would it be the oil pressure or guage broken or the sensor? baf6 Member 139 Member For: 17y 5m 11d Posted 18/03/11 09:54 PM Author Posted 18/03/11 09:54 PM actually it's still doing it only took it for a little drive yesterday, but last night went for a decent drive and went right back up.what could cause such high oil pressure? is it even possible for the oil pressure to get that high or is it more likely to be the guage or something
