you could try a mild plastic polish... but id be VERY gentle, use microfibre so not to push abbraisives in to hard as the particles will fall into the fluff if forced on.

There is a thread with a solution; one of the members tracked down the supplier of the polarizing film that coats the ICC screen.

From there it is a matter of removal and replacement of the film. From memory, this was somewhat of a tricky process.

you would have to check if the scratch has gone through the polarizer film or not, a few pics would be good!

the company I work for sell those sort of TFT LCD's, we buff out scratches quite often, but really depends how deep they are... extreme caution should be taken here though!

maybe he tried to clean it with sand paper :roflmbo:

if its 1 or 2 light gashes you'll be fine, if its hundreds of microscopic swirls then your never going to get them out... in this instance you would need a new screen, you can just replace the LCD, you wont need a whole module or anything, the trick is being able to find the LCD :spoton:

what the hell did they do to it? they didnt even go for the swirling action, they went the full on crisscross!
