Spluttering/Missing About 5K Rpm

Hey guys.

Recently when I go above 5k rpm it feels like its slightly spluttering and going up in rpm a bit slower.

10k kms ago I got my coilpacks and plugs done as it was doing the same spluttering feeling but at all rpm and much worse.

What could it be? The car does need a service.

could it be the coil packs again?

Im getting the car modded and serviced in February, if I don't go high rpm it wouldn't hurt it would it?

The car is a xr6t ba 4 speed auto and is stock.
