Hey guys.. wasnt too sure where to post this one.. but here it goes

Have a FG XRT,, 7000 odd kays and ZF auto

Hopped in it yesterday.. whilst still cold and starting to pull boost I heard a sound that definitely shouldnt be there..

Wouldnt say its a "wind rushing" sort of noise but pretty close.. only on boost and slowly went away as the motor go to temp.

Now .. yeah Im thinking loose manifild, pipework, turbo etc

But before I take it down to FRAUD Id prob have a look myself.

If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated

Maybe blown intercooler pipe mate? I have heard it's common on the FG's. Doesn't explain why it would go away when the engine gets warm though, so I'm probably far off. Does the car still pull the same?

Not sure if it is? You know what its like.. you hear a noise and its all bad...

Letting it cool down again and Ill take it for another spin and see how it feels..

Manage a work shop so Ill get one of the boys to throw it on a hoist. But in saying that itll only do it on boost so pretty hard to find free revving.. thank for you response..

Don't sweat over it too much mate it's under warranty anyway. If you have a smoke tester you can just do a quick test to see if there are any leaks.
